    The Office of Environmental Health is responsible for maintaining a statewide childhood lead poisoning program. Case follow-up is provided for physician and laboratory reports of elevated blood lead levels in children. Follow-up consists of providing phone counseling, educational brochures and home environmental investigations when warranted.
