| Rachel Carson Council (RCC) is a clearinghouse and library that
provides information on pesticide-related issues at both scientific and
layperson levels. RCC develops its knowledge from literature searches and
conversations with experts, and then provides answers to the public and
produces
various publications clarifying pesticide dangers and bringing
alternative pest
controls to the public's attention. Rachel Carson Council provides the following services:
The RCC web site offers selected sample excerpts and pesticide clusters from Basic Guide to Pesticides, a book that covers all that people need to know about some 700 pesticides and their contaminants. The site also offers links to related organizations and pesticide resources. |
