Mission Statement |

| The Division of Environmental Health is
responsible for regulating and enforcing all laws
governing environmental health. Their mission is "to
seek to improve and preserve the health of the people of
Guam through environmental controls." |

Children's Environmental Health Activities |
|
Hazardous Substance Program: responsible for ensuring that hazardous household substances imported and marketed in Guam are safe. This includes toys which present mechanical, electrical or thermal hazards. Consumer Products Safety Program: responsible for ensuring that consumer products are approved and safe for use in a household. Food Safety Program: responsible for ensuring that food products imported and marketed in Guam are safe and approved by the FDA. This includes the regulation of infant formulas and dietary supplements. Model Ordinances: Clean Indoor Air Act of 1992 (Guam Public Law No. 21-90). Modeled after one drafted by American's for Non-Smoker's Rights. |
