Mission Statement

 
Legal Environmental Assistance Foundation, Inc. (LEAF) is the only environmental public interest law firm in Florida, Georgia and Alabama that focuses solely on the protection of human health from toxic contamination. LEAF is known for its work on underground injection wells, anti-degradation, dioxin and community assistance.

    LEAF's environmental health programs steadfastly protect the rights of all people to live in communities where the water is safe to drink, the air safe to breathe and the land safe to live upon. LEAF has developed a program to reduce the use of pesticides in schools, called Community Action to Manage Pesticide Use in Schools (CAMPUS). As part of the program, LEAF has authored a CAMPUS Guide. The Guide is a how-to manual for parents wishing to start an integrated pest management program in their school districts.
