This survey is the primary source for data on current health issues in
the
United States. Data on incidence and prevalence of acute and chronic
conditions
are collected via a continuing, nationwide household interview survey. In
addition to the basic survey protocol, each year there are supplements to
the
survey to collect information on specific topics. A Child Health
Supplement was
included in the 1988 and 1991 surveys. |
