Mission Statement

 
The mission of Ohio's Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (OCLPPP) is to eliminate childhood lead poisoning through screening, environmental inspection, abatement, education and case management.

  • Other organizational activities (not directed specifically toward children): advocacy, education, grantmaking, organizing, regulation

    The OCLPPP administers statewide comprehensive activities for childhood lead poisoning prevention. The OCLPPP has contributed to the development of reporting and licensing laws in Ohio. The OCLPPP develops statewide recommendations and policies for screening and follow-up.
