Mission Statement

 
The mission of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (USCPSC) is to protect the public from the unreasonable risk of injury or death from 15,000 types of consumer products in and around the home.

  • Other organizational activities (not directed specifically toward children): education, grantmaking, research

    USCPSC provides publications to consumers, media and advocacy groups such as Protect Your Family From Lead in Your Home and other general indoor air quality brochures.
